Virtual School Program

Our easy-to-use, online/home-based programs help students in grades 6–12 and adults develop the skills they need to succeed in high school, college and beyond.
Recorded lessons with access to a dedicated teacher provide a truly self-paced program, allowing the student to complete their course requirements at their own pace within a 10-month period. For the accelerated student, early completion allows them to immediately progress to the next grade.

Curriculum and Tuition

Tuition
U.S. Residents: $1250.00 per academic grade level for 10-month access
International Residents: $2000 per academic grade level for 10-month access
Note: Additional courses may be added to a student's curriculum for an additional cost of $250.00 per course.
Blended Virtual School
Get the flexibility of our virtual program with the extra benefit of in-person classes with a live teacher!
Students can now enroll in the AHSA virtual school and attend classroom sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday weekly from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. for in-person learning.
Tuition
$600 Enrollment fee + $100 per week for approximately 10 months per academic year. Ongoing enrollment, starting Tuesday of each week.

Middle School Curriculum
Grades 6 - 8
The middle school years are pivotal for children. Grades 6 - 8 is when students learn to work more independently, learning the skills required for future success in high school and beyond.
American High School Academy’s middle school program provides a full, self-paced education, with a focus on laying the foundation for and nurturing the student’s independent work skills.
While independent work skills are built, course work will become more challenging and your middle school student will require your daily assistance to help keep them on track, encourage their progress and begin to find their areas of natural interest and passion.
The Middle School curriculum comprises the traditional 4-core courses of Language Arts, Math Science and Social Studies.
Our program offers the flexibility of choosing individual core courses or shorter course units to help focus students who may need remediation.
Grade 6 Curriculum
Sixth grade is usually the start of middle school with students typically in the range of 11 to 12 years of age. Grade 6 is when students are usually introduced to a new way of learning.
Language Arts
Language Arts 1 explores several types of literature. Students will be expected to write essays, including a comparison-contrast essay
Mathematics
Students should have a demonstrable understanding of the concepts covered in Math before enrolling in Mathematics 1.
Comprehensive Science
Students should have a solid understanding of the concepts covered in Science before enrolling in 6th Grade Science Semester 1
World History
Students should have a demonstrable understanding of the concepts covered in Social Studies 1 and 2 before enrolling in World History Semester 1.
Grade 7 Curriculum
The Middle School grade 7 is the seventh school year after kindergarten and students are usually 12 to 13 years old. It typically forms the second year of middle school and is the next stepping stone for students.
Language Arts 2
Language Arts 2 focuses on the study of grammar, literature, and composition. Students will learn about elements of grammar such as pronouns, clauses, and subjects and predicates.
Mathematics 2
Students should have a solid understanding of the concepts covered in Mathematics 1 Semester 1 and 2 before enrolling in Mathematics 2
Comprehensive Science 2
Students should have a sound understanding of the concepts covered in Comprehensive Science 1 before enrolling in Comprehensive Science 2
United States History
United States History will encourage students to think like geographers by teaching them to study the Earth according to the five themes of geography.
Grade 8 Curriculum
The middle school grade-8 is the last year of middle school with students between 13 to 14 years of age. It is typically the final grade before high school and is commonly referred to as the eighth year of education.
Language Arts 3
Before enrolling in this course, students should have a sound understanding of the concepts and ideas covered in Language Arts 2 Semester 1 and 2.
Mathematics 3
Students should have a sound understanding of the concepts covered in Mathematics 2 Semester 1 and 2 before enrolling in Mathematics III.
Comprehensive Science 3
Students should have a sound understanding of the concepts covered in Comprehensive Science II Semester 1 and 2 before enrolling in Comprehensive Science III.
Civics
Students must have successfully completed United States History Semester 1 and 2 or equivalent course work before enrolling in Civics.
High School Curriculum
Grades 9-12
High School is where the child grows and transitions into a young adult. These school years are crucial as the child matures in their interests and passions, sets their goals for the future, and plans their path for attaining them.
American High School Academy understands that academic planning at the high school level can be overwhelming for both the student and the adults helping them navigate their way. As such AHSA, offers a complete selection of core academic and electives. Our high school curriculum delivers courses built from instructional design best practices that incorporate video, interactive activities, immediate feedback, and assessments to ensure mastery and authentic work. With continuous support, content updates and course releases, students will always be connected to the best in online learning.
Upon completion of all graduation requirements, the students receives a Standard High School Diploma and transcript.

We recognize that graduation is not the final stop for many of our students and that continuing support is important for students to successfully transition into the next stage of their education.
We are proud to provide our graduates and their families’ assistance with all aspects of the college search, selection, application and financial aid “FAFSA” process FREE of charge. Assistance is also available to graduates to enroll in public regionally accredited colleges and universities.

The High School Grade 10 course curriculum is designed to engage the learning process to meet their academic goals. Students enrolled in the 10th-grade course curriculum are exposed to lessons, homework, discussions, and tests to prepare students for higher grades at their pace and time with us.

Grade 11 Curriculum
The high school Grade 11-course curriculum is designed for high school juniors to take classes online in a flexible online environment taught by certified teachers with the best practical curriculum. In the Grade 11 high school program, students are exposed to advanced math, science, social studies, and language arts.
