AHSA’s credit recovery courses are self-contained, independent study units designed to supplement your school’s existing curriculum. They’re a proven way to earn high school credit in courses students didn’t pass the first time. Credit recovery is the solution for:

Registration and course tuition
- Year-round open enrollment
- Course curriculums are provided online for home-based or in-person study
- In-person classroom study is available 5 days a week (25 hours), or 3 days in class (15 hours) plus 2 days in a virtual classroom (10 hours)
- All courses completed through Credit Recovery are marked “CR” on the student transcript
Before you apply: AHSA requires a school official or counselor to sign a credit recovery authorization form that guarantees the makeup courses transfer to the student’s official record before enrollment. This confirms to students and families that the classes will transfer back to their home school. If the student is working with a counselor at their home school, they can instead give us the school and counselor’s name on the application, and we’ll work directly with the home school to arrange authorization.

M-DCPS enrollment is currently closed. Please contact us for enrollment options.
Eligible Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) students may qualify for tuition-free online credit recovery courses: no course tuition, the same accredited curriculum and the same flexible online format.
Restrictions apply. Eligibility is determined by M-DCPS guidelines and program availability.
