Honors Academy

The AHSA Honors Program* prepares students for success by providing high level educational opportunities through a preparatory framework of advanced academics. Successful progression through this rigorous program prepares students for collegiate opportunities and competitive college admissions.

  • Students earn their 24 credits through a higher-level curriculum (Honors and AP)
  • Dual Enrollment (DE) Courses are offered through the partnership with Miami-Dade College (MDC), and University of South Florida (USF).
  • Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Diploma program, through our partnership with FLVS, allows students to become eligible for the Bright Futures Academic Scholars award and the Florida Medallion Scholars Tuition award. 

 

*Note: Admission to the AHSA Honors Academy requires a prerequisite minimum GPA, college readiness scores, and full-time enrollment at AHSA. 

Ancillary Tuition Fees

PSAT: $45.00 per administration

SAT: $70.00 per administration

ACT: $65.00 per administration

IXL: $50.00 per administration

Dual Enrollment (Miami Dade College): $125.00 per credit
