AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMY

Traditional Education Programs

MIDDLE SCHOOL
(Grades 6-8)

The Middle School is a community of students, parents and teachers who work together in the classrooms, studios, science labs, courts and fields. We are learners and experimenters whose success and challenges lead to growth. Through collaboration and connection, we are all able to both lead and follow, while relying on one another.

Academics

The Middle School experience includes a broad scope of courses that are designed to fit a student's readiness and interests. Foreign Language choices, multiple Math courses at each grade level, double English classes each day, and project-based Science and Social Science curriculum advance a strong foundation of knowledge to which the children can apply their critical thinking skills.

Electives

The Middle School offers several Elective courses each allowing students to pursue a passion, or simply try something new. Self-discovery, shared experience, fun, deep understanding, accomplishment, and satisfaction come with the balance of core and elective classes that American High School Academy students experience every day.

HIGH SCHOOL
(Grades 9-12)

More than 20 nationalities are represented at American High School Academy, which serves students in 6th-12th grade on two campuses. The school’s rich diversity is reinforced by a culture where individualized learning nurtures each student’ unique talents and skills. The hallmark of American High School Academy is its high standard of academic excellence enhanced by the integration of technology and experiential learning, all designed to support admission to colleges and universities and prepare students for the real world.

American High School Academy students thrive in a nurturing environment where creative expression and problem solving skills are paramount. In addition to AP courses, the school offers an International Baccalaureate Programme (IB), as well as Signature Academic Programs with in-depth curricular sequences in biomedical science, engineering, international business and entrepreneurship and law and litigation.

Furthermore, American High School Academy maintains a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, in which students explore academic and extracurricular interests and partake in individual research projects, which are often presented to experts in the field. American High School’s robust opportunities for advanced coursework and enrichment make school that much more exciting, while helping to further distinguish students when applying to colleges and universities.
